BJP leaders and Maharastra’s Former Chief Minister praised BJP candidate Joshua D’souza by expressing confidence that Joshua will carry his father’s legacy forward. Fadnavis inaugurated the ‘Jansampark karyalay’ of Joshua D’souza by expressing confidence in Joshua’s win.
MLA Mahesh Landage, MLA Ram Satpute, former minister Dayanand Manjrekar, BJP leader Abhijit Samant, Mayor Shubhangi Waingankar, board president Sushant Harmalkar, and BJP office bearers were present during the inauguration ceremony.
Devendra Fadnavis said, “Today, on this inauguration, we pay tribute to Manohar Parrikar and Francis D’Souza. Manohar Parrikar and Francis D’Souza were like Ram Laxmana in the BJP. The duo played a huge role and did magnificent work for serving people. Francis D’souza used to work shoulder to shoulder with Mahonar Bhai. The developmental transformation of this region took place during their period. Mhapxekars have always showered their love and blessing on BJP in every election.
“The Mapusa constituency has gained a great leader like Joshua who won the by-election. He has achieved many milestones and did an incredible job in a very short tenure. Further, Fadnavis also expressed confidence that Joshua will carry Babush’s legacy forward.
Speaking about the constituency’s electoral battle, Fadnavis said,” Mhapxekars need to decide who they want to elect as their representative, Joshua who is a trustworthy candidate or the candidate who has a remote control in Calangute. Most people think they can buy Mhapxekars on wealth and conquer constituencies in Bardish by proxy. I am confident and believe that people will never tolerate such fake commitments as they have witnessed how BJP has changed and transformed Goa. Especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given exceptional help and support to the state, transforming Goa through spectacular development and growth.”
