The official candidate of the Bhartiya Janata Party in the Mapusa Assembly constituency and the standing MLA Joshua De Souza, filed his nomination documents at the Deputy Collector’s office on Thursday. Joshua’s Mother and Sister Sophia De Souza were present.
Also, MLAs of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Mahesh Landage, Goa BJP office bearers Ram Satpute, , prominent activists were present while filling the nomination.
Joshua De Souza said, he was satisfied while filing nomination for BJP. I have the blessings of my father and support of the voters in Mapusa constituency. All the candidates from different party for the State Assembly Elections, are seen campaigning from ‘Door To Door’ following the rules laid down by the Election Commission.
The Door-To-Door campaign has received an unprecedented response. “I have the support of the people, no matter who comes and tries best, my victory is certain,” Joshua said.
