This year wasn’t the best for businesses and we can even say that many had to struggle to survive in an economy that was completely bombed by the onset of the pandemic. However, with the various unlock procedures taking place after the lockdown, many businesses and restaurants have taken a leap of faith and decided to open new restaurants and we’re lauding their effort! So if you’re curious about these places and want to support them, here’s the list!

1. Fab Cafe By The Lake
This dreamy lakeside cafe is situated very conveniently, overlooking the lush greenery and scenic environs of the Sunder Nursery and the Heritage Park. It also lights up during the night with pretty lampshades that make the cafe shine and give it a rustic vibe. The cafe also makes for a perfect date atmosphere so grab your boo and check out the place for a nice cosy winter date. And don’t forget to try their awesome Meal Trays, Water Chestnut Momos and Jackfruit Chapatis, for a delish meal!

2. The Great Indian Mela

The Great Indian Mela is as grand as it sounds. This restaurant has taken interior decor to another level with hundreds of small lamps that line the ceiling, throwing a soft glow on the people sitting below. You’re sure to fall in love with the cosy atmosphere and their diverse menu comes up to snuff. Take your boo on a much-needed date night here and feast on their sublime dishes like Malabari Prawns, Chaat Platter, Rara Gosht and much more and thank us later!

3. American Daddy

American Daddy promises to serve you a coffee experience that’ll be etched in your memory and we’re definitely keeping an eye out for this joint. This newly opened branch in Paschim Vihar also comes with beautiful outdoor seating that definitely has the potential to turn into your favourite hangout spot with your pals. So, for all the coffee enthusiasts, drop on by and try their Hazelnut Latte, Bad Boy Burger and their Rising Star Frappe. You won’t be disappointed!

4. The Barbeque Company, Noida

All you Barbeque loving peeps out there, here’s a new place you can head to, to satisfy your cravings for that exceptionally delicious Barbeque Chilli Chicken, BBQ Pineapple, Roasted Garlic Prawns and everything barbequed! You have the option to opt for a buffet-style menu or try their huge a la carte range to put an end to those hunger pangs. This one’s a family-style fine dining place where your entire family can come and enjoy festivities or just get together for a hearty dinner. Sounds like a plan, no?

5. Breakin’ Brew

Breaking brew as the name suggests gives strong reference to the popular show ‘Breaking Bad’ and this is clearly reflected in their ambience. A perfect hangout spot for you and your Bhukkad gang of friends, as well as fans of the show, they ensure that they serve only the best of the best. Do try their Apple Pinkman & Cinnamon Pan Cake, Old School Chilli Potato, Spicy Roast Chicken for a fantastic meal here!

6. Bulls & Barrels, Golf Course Road

The place is as unique as its name and this brewpub serves some freshly brewed craft beer that is a class apart. If you’re looking to chill with your friends after a long day of work or just need a place to sit back and relax with a beer in hand, head over here. Once there, you can’t pass up on their Chur Chur Naan, Non-Veg Kabab Platter and obviously their in-house craft beers! Grab your friends and enjoy a chill time with the gang!

7. Colocal Chocolates

Have you ever set foot in a chocolate factory and a cafe, all in one? No? Well now is your chance and might we say, the ambience is absolutely breathtaking. You can stroll around the place or take a look and whiff of the chocolate factory to your heart’s content. Their menu is as ravishing as the ambience so go ahead and bring your boo along for a fun date. While you’re there, do try their signature desserts that they create from their own in-house produced chocolates like their Hot chocolate, Dark Chocolate Cake and Non-veg Tacos.

8. Out Of The Box Courtyard

If you’re looking for a new romantic joint to take bae, head here! OTB has come with a new joint smack dab in the middle of Delhi, in CP and we’re not complaining. This restaurant comes with an outdoor seating that looks absolutely ethereal when lit up at night, and we can’t stop singing odes to their amazing menu that dabbles in Continental, Asian, North Indian AND Italian cuisine. Do try their Delhi Dahi Kebabs, OTB Biryani Rounds With Curd and Butter Chicken Burger, the next time you drop by with boo!

9. Daddyofdrinks

This newly-opened restaurant in Bhikaji Cama Place is spacious and has a chilled-out vibe that is perfect for a hangout with friends. With a scrumptious menu, attentive staff and great service – it more than comes up to snuff, charming us with its ambience. You’ll also find that it is perfect for small parties with a DJ, live grill and a buffet option. They’re also taking care of all the safety precautions, ensuring that you have a safe dining experience. Do check out their English Breakfast, Veg Platter and Paneer Makhani Pizza, when you decide to drop by!

10. For Earth’s Sake

For Earth’s Sake in Gurgaon is an uber-cute cafe that follows a unique zero-waste policy and we’re swooning over how adorable and eco-friendly it is. The concept follows the idea that all waste or materials will be used in some way or other, thereby creating as little waste for the environment as possible. And the best part – the food is as crazy good as their ambience! Drop by here on a cosy morning and dig into their delish Falafel Sandwich, Eggless Date Walnut Cake, Hot Chocolate and Cold Brew!

11. Pehle Chai

Pehle Chai is a cute cafe located in Sushant Lok and serves all kinds of beverages. They are especially famous for their range of tea (evident from their name), serving every type you can think of, right from Kulhad Chai to Peach Ice Tea! They also serve snacks and nibbles that’ll go perfectly with your cuppa, complementing those cold winter mornings. Do try their Vada Pav, Barish Wale Pakode and Jodhpuri Kachori for a blissful ‘chai pe charcha’ with your pals, here!

12. Uncle Jack’s

This much-raved Chandigarh outlet has finally set its sails in Delhi and we couldn’t be more ecstatic. Known for their wide range of American treats, Be it the hot dogs from the streets of New York, or the waffles from classic diners, they have something for everyone. We’re fans of their Fries In A Beaker which is a favourite with the regulars. Once you drop by here, feast on their chilly Philly Steak which is available in different flavours and also give their Tachos a shot!

13. Bhathura Factory

This newly-opened joint is doling out our favourites this winter – piping hot Chole Bhature, Pav bhaji, samosas and more. A new addition in Pitampura, Bhathura Factory promises to fulfil all your foodie dreams and for those that live off street food, well, say hello to your new hangout. If you want to start your morning nashta on a toothsome note then head over and don’t forget to relish their Bedmi Puri!

14. Epic Restro – Bar

For those looking to chill over the weekends with your friend’s gang, Epic Restro Bar is the place to be. Their Electronic LED-Wall themed interiors, along with pulsing music makes for a great party sesh with friends. They also have a gorgeous rooftop terrace that is decorated with greenery and wooden furniture, giving it a chic and trendy vibe. The next time you’re in Hauz Khas, head here and feast on their amazing grub like Achari Mushroom Tikka, Boneless Jalandhari Mutton Boti Kabab and Paneer Dhaniya Adraki. You’re welcome!

15. Noon Mirch

Here’s another rooftop restaurant that promises to leave you breathless with the sights. A stylish seating area, Great service and a birds-eye view of the streets below make this restaurant a must-visit for people who prefer outdoor seating. They’re an Indian cuisine restaurant that provides a modern twist to the traditional dishes and serve lip-smacking food like Chit Chat Chaat, Pav bhaji Fondue, Rolled Samosa Avocado and Mint Relish and so much more! If these dishes sparked curiosity in you, then head over and sample them ASAP!

16. 7 Old Town

Not only is this place super Instagrammable but it also provides both indoor and outdoor seating areas that look classy and elegant. We fell in love with the huge glass windows with billowy white curtains and their food which is truly remarkable. They also do stand-up comedy and live music shows every weekend which will defo make your visit here worthwhile. When here, dig into their Butter Chicken Pasta, Mediterranean Pizza and Chicken Sandwich for a foodie delight!

17. Huba Buba Bakery & Kitchen

Huba Buba is a small cafe-cum-bakery that serves a mix of Continental, Italian, Mediterranean, Japanese and Indian dishes. They have beautiful outdoor seating that is decked up with fairy lights and looks completely magical at night. Their food will literally make you go ‘huba buba’ in delight, so don’t pass up on their insanely good Kappa Maki, Butter Chicken with Rice, Volcano Chocolate, and so much more! 18. Sexy Soda

This joint opened at the start of the year but then had to immediately face the sudden onset of the Pandemic and the lockdown. Yet they hung on, giving epic portions of food that taste not only sublime but was also extremely well-plated. A cosy atmosphere, plush chairs, wide outdoor rooftop seating, and a buzzing atmosphere make this place a must-visit. Check out their Wasabi Prawns, Pan-Seared Sole With Braised Super Greens, Moroccan Lemon Olive Chicken and Baklava, on your next visit here.

19. Diablo Delhi

When we say that your eyes will be blessed when you first step into this restaurant, we mean it. This super aesthetic and huge restaurant in Mehrauli mainly serves Middle-Eastern cuisine like Meditteranean, Iranian and Turkish. They also serve delish cocktails that are sure to put the cherry on top to an incredible meal. Check out their dishes like Lahmacun, Tavuk Pide, Kabuli Pulao and Pancar Kok and Pistachio, to enjoy a great meal here with bae!

20. Vogue – Modern Kitchen

A considerably recent addition to the newly-opened restaurant list, this restaurant is bringing in the culture of BYOB to Noida and is a combination of a Liquor shop and a cafe. You can literally go and shop for your own booze here and then bring it to the restaurant to enjoy. Great live music, incredible bar nibbles and great dishes make Vogue – will fosho put vogue on your go-to list. Once there, try their Lavangi Sev Chaat, Let’s Nacho, kaffir Lime Spring Roll for a foodgasmic meal!
