From yoga to HIIT, the new Samsung Health update brings guided iFit workouts, deeper tracking, and premium wellness partnerships.
Samsung Health Gets a Major Upgrade
Samsung has rolled out a new Samsung Health update (v6.30.5.105), weighing in at 320.45 MB, with a headline addition: iFit integration. The feature is live on both the Galaxy Store and Google Play Store, offering Galaxy users more structured and interactive home fitness content.
iFit Workouts Come to Samsung Health
The Fitness tab now has a dedicated iFit carousel slider, letting users browse and launch professional-grade programs right inside Samsung Health.
The integration introduces 7 workout categories:
- Yoga
- Pilates
- HIIT
- Strength
- Recovery
- Barre
- Mindfulness
Each category includes dozens of guided programs, designed to suit beginners and pros alike.
How the Workouts Work
- Discover & Select: Swipe through iFit’s curated programs, tap to see descriptions, difficulty levels, required equipment, and session duration.
- Workout Screen: Launching a program opens a video player with real-time stats like calories burned, heart rate, and session length.
- Wearable Sync: Paired Galaxy Watches display workout highlights, ensuring seamless tracking across devices.
Users can also swipe through recommended cards for exclusive discounts and fitness events tied to iFit.
Extra Wellness Features
Beyond workouts, Samsung has added a “Discover” tab, which connects users to premium wellness partners. Depending on your region, you’ll see:
- Meal plans and nutrition tips
- Personalized health content
- Curated wellness products
This makes Samsung Health not just a fitness tracker but a comprehensive health platform.
A Growing Wellness Ecosystem
This collaboration signals Samsung’s intent to expand its wearable ecosystem with more partnerships. By tying in professional content like iFit, Galaxy users get:
- Smarter fitness tracking
- Motivating workout content
- Evolving value from their devices long after purchase
