The World’s Largest Inflatable Water Park Is Set Up In Dubai, Breaking The Guinness World Record

This time it is AquaFun – a waterpark anchored in the Gulf waters alongside the JBR beach with the Guinness World Record for having the largest inflatable water park in the world.

The inflatable water park in Dubai is now officially the largest in the world, measuring 42,400 square metres and including 72 obstacles. From aircraft flying into Dubai, it appears as the words ‘I love (heart symbol) Expo 2020 Dubai’.

AquaFun was launched in 2016 and has grown three times since then, making it the largest in the world. It is open all year round.

The winning title comes at a time when the country is hosting the mega event of Expo 2020 as well as celebrating the golden jubilee, which makes the title even more impressive.

Another event that makes the title special is the Dubai Shopping Festival, which is a source of pride for the city, as it is a part of it. AquaFun is a great example of a locally-owned business that provides many visitors with a lot of fun on the beach.

The country manager of Guinness World Records MENA, Talal Omar, noted, “Dubai is not a stranger to world records, and it always surprises us with its innovation, creativity, and determination to keep competing with itself.”. Its citizens and residents are no different; their dedication and drive are admirable.
