Maharashtra’s Vitthal Rukmini Temple Decorated With 7000 Mangoes, Later Donated To Covid Patients

Ever since the pandemic broke out, festivals and celebrations have become low-key. While India is battling a deadly second wave, the people have been trying hard to stay positive and keep it together. People from across the world have been coming forward to help the situation in every little way they can. And now, a Maharashtra temple is doing its bit to help Covid patients. The video is doing the rounds on social media and is just heart warming. Pune-based businessman- Vinayak Kachi has donated 7000 mangoes to Vitthal Rukmini temple in Pandharpur, Maharashtra. And the best bit- the ripe mangoes will be distributed Covid patients.

Pune Businessman Offers 7000 Mangoes To Vitthal Rukmini Temple
Recently, pictures of Maharashtra’s Vitthal Rukmini temple has been doing the rounds on social media. Every corner of the temple has been adorned with ripe mangoes. In fact, there’s also a huge bouquet of fruits that can be spotted right at the centre of the temple. Well, if you’re wondering what this is all about, Pune based businessman- Vinayak Kachi is doing his bit to help Covid patients.

On the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, Vinayak donated 7000 mangoes to the temple. Besides, other fruits like watermelon and apples were also used to decorate the temple. Once the puja was completed, the ripe mangoes were distributed to Covid patients, sick and the needy.

Noble deed, indeed!

Well, this is not the first time Indians are coming forward to help the situation. Earlier, a beedi worker from Kannur donated ₹2lakhs to CMDRF leaving just ₹850 in his account. Bank staff hesitated but his answer was that he could still roll beedies and also was entitled to disability pension.

Some Other Good Samaritans Who Have Come Forward To Help
Many other good samaritans have come forward to provide assistance at the time of crisis. A man from Mumbai’s Malad, named Shahnawaz Shaikh, sold his swanky SUV worth ₹22 lakhs to provide oxygen cylinders to COVID patients. A vegetable seller’s son also offered to donate his salary to save the lives of COVID patients. The user named Shubhal Shah from Vadodara, Gujarat offered to deliver free food to the doorstep of COVID patients.
