WhatsApp is trying to add new features to make the chats more interactive and engaging. Recently, the Meta-owned company has rolled out many features like emoji reactions, multi-device support, and so on. But, it’s still lacking an amazing feature like Telegram, where users can organize their chats.
Reportedly, WhatsApp is working on a chat filter for non-business users. Like in the picture, there’s a filter button on top. Users can simply tap the button to filter chats as per their choice.

However, this feature already exists in WhatsApp Business which offers filter chats based on the unread messages from contacts. But, the filter toggle appears when users access the search bar.
This functionality is coming for iOS and Android, but you have to wait for some more time as it’s still in the testing stage. The chat filter feature brings some sanity to your chat list and helps you to keep your chats organized.
