The 2022 model year Ferrari Roma has gone on sale with a price tag of Rs. 3.76 crores (ex-showroom) in India. The 2+2 sports-GT was showcased to a select clientele in Mumbai on Thursday.
Although it is not an all-out supercar, that did not stop Ferrari from giving it styling worthy of praise, unlike most cars these days, the Roma has a clean exterior design with just the right amount of creases and curves.
Unlike Ferraris that came before it, the Roma has a very modern interior
The mid-front engine layout has directed the design of the sports-GT, which also features a pleasing perforated radiator grille and LED lights.
Its interior is as good as, if not better than, the exterior. As an evolution of the dual-cockpit concept, the sports-GT’s cabin sports a new steering wheel, 3 digital screens (including the 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen), and 2 additional seats for children.
But, all that is irrelevant in a supercar, for a customer pays the huge 2022 Ferrari Roma price tag to hear its 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 sing for the most part.
The supercar’s V8 features ‘Variable Boost Management’ for instantaneous throttle response
The motor is tuned to produce 620 PS and 760 Nm of torque and comes mated with an 8-speed DCT. Ferrari claims the Roma can finish the 0-100 km/hr run in 3.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 320 km/hr.
