Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has Swift as one of its top retailers in the Indian market for so many years.
Early in 2018, the hatchback received its third generation and was on display at the 2018 Auto Expo before going on sale. Swift is best known for its low-impact driving and powertrain-saving technology. Additionally, Dzire, its sedan child, completes the top of the sedan sales charts every month. The country’s largest car manufacturer has already declared that it will expand its CNG range, as CNG is considered to be the fastest way forward.
Fuel prices are expected to rise sharply, causing chaos and affecting high-yield market segments for a long time. With the strong BSVI emission standards coming into effect on April 1, 2020, only a few cars outside of other SUVs in the compact segment under Rs. 10 lakh are allowed to use diesel.
Pricing For Variants
Indo-Japanese manufacturer is expected to launch the S-CNG-spec Swift soon and may offer only the LXi entry-level variant. Swift LXi is priced at Rs. 5.73 lakh (ex-showroom) and S-CNG variants can cost an additional Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 90,000. Currently, base Swift LXi costs Rs. 5.73 lakh (ex-showroom) and S-CNG models can cost around Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 90,000 more.
Recently, Maruti Suzuki launched the updated Swift with two-color color schemes and a revised grille alongside the new 1.2-liter DualJet petrol engine. Swift was also available in LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi + rims at a price in range of Rs. 5.73 lakh and Rs. 8.41 lakh (front room of the show).

The base variations come with standard equipment such as 14-inch steel wheels, front seat belts, more metal display information, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, and reminders, air conditioning system, ISOFIX child seat -anchor, steering power with tilt adjust, high-speed warning, inside adjust wing wings and 12V front socket. All can be anticipated, even in the S-CNG type.
