Mg Astor Spied, Official Reveal Coming Soon

MG is gearing up to unveil the Astor tomorrow, and just in time, we spied it undisguised.

One would be hard-pressed to find a poorly designed part of the Astor, which has adequately styled body panels.
In addition to the black paint, this recently spotted MG Astor was fitted with chrome window garnishes, and exhaust surrounds, and silver roof rails, along with dual-tone alloy wheels.

The top-spec model will feature LED lighting units, a digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and artificial intelligence.

With the Astor, MG will also offer Level 2 autonomous tech (it’s equipped with mid-range radars and a multipurpose camera for that very purpose), and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), which the Chinese-owned company uses says are optimized for Indian conditions.

It is rumored that either MG’s 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine (118 HP and 150 Nm) or its 1.5-liter turbo-petrol (161 HP and 230 Nm) will be available in four different trims for the MG Astor. The transmission choices will include a manual, CVT, and an automatic based on the chosen engine option.

MG will reveal all of the details about the vehicle tomorrow, which will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti S-Cross, and others.
