The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has been spotted on-road testing again, and boy does it look good.
After the Meteor 350, the premium bike brand’s next high profile release would be the new generation Classic 350 spied extensively undisguised recently.
Another single-cylinder motorcycle that the firm is working on is the Hunter, the model seen on a highway in recent days.
Let us not beat about the bush. The recently spotted Royal Enfield Hunter 350 seems very much inspired by Triumph’s Street Twin and, thus, looks sublime.
It is modern yet retro while sporting a halogen headlight, orange lens indicators, teardrop fuel tank, single-piece seat, simple circular tail light, bobbed rear mudguard and an upswept exhaust.
It has alloy wheels, a telescopic front fork with rubber boots, twin rear shocks, a disc brake on each wheel, split passenger grab handles and a saree guard.
Looks like Royal Enfield wants to crush its competition
Although the test rider in the picture seems bogged down (it must have been a long day on the saddle), the riding position is reminiscent of a roadster.
Previous spy shots have proven that the Hunter 350 will get the same gauges and switchgear as the Meteor 350, including the Tripper navigation assist.
It should be powered by the same 349cc engine putting out 20.2 BHP and 27 Nm of torque as the Meteor 350. The 5-speed gearbox should be carried as is too.
Expected to be introduced by the end of the year, the Hunter 350 could be priced on a par with the Honda H’ness CB350
