Suniel Namdeorao Rukari was appointed as Chairman of ‘The Vishweshwar Sahakari Bank Ltd’ for the year 2022-23, while Ajay Chandrashekhar Doijad was elected as the Vice Chairman. Both Rukari and Doijad were elected unopposed during a meeting of the Bank’s Board of Directors held in Pune on August 17.
Advocate Shashikant Kulkarni was the election officer. Rukari is a progressive farmer and is associated with several non-government organizations, while Doijad is a well-known builder from Kolhapur. Bank’s Chief Executive Officer, Sriram Apte congratulated the new Chairman and Vice Chairman on their appointments. On occasion, Rukari said it was the bank’s golden jubilee year and appealed for cooperation to fulfill its targets and ensure that the bank’s Non Performing Assets are at zero percent. Bank’s General Manager Ram Darade expressed the vote of thanks.
