In an email shared with the employees of OYO, Agarwal states, “…these are incredibly tough times. I truly hope you are doing everything you can to stay safe. While we all pray that this wave flattens soon, we know that the next 2-3 months are not going to be easy.”
He also advised his employees to deal with the stress levels at their homes and in their minds by going two ways. He suggested that employees talk to the people that they love and trust and spend time with them. These include spouses, parents, children, and friends. He also advised them to find sources of positivity such as Yoga, music, cooking, pets, et al.
No Questions Asked Flexible Infinite Paid Leaves Till July For OYO Employees
He announced that the move to implement a 4 day work week was an inspiration from startups and large companies. However, the difference at OYO would be that the employees will be given Wednesdays off, so that the OYOpreneurs will have a break in the middle of the week.
He has also talked about the launch of no questions asked flexible infinite paid leaves. He said that he will also be putting this time to good use by spending it with his family, volunteering with the OYO COVID War Room, and talking to a few friends and colleagues whose families have been impacted severely.
As per Agarwal, the infinite no reasons asked paid leaves till July will be paid leaves, and will be given in addition to the already available privilege and sick leaves.
