IT Firms Administering Vaccines To Their Employees

Reportedly, most employees of IT firms such as Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, and Wipro have been administered at least one dose for Covid-19.

With this move, the IT firms are also prompted to think that a portion of employees can be called back in the next two quarters.

Infosys and Wipro have also given a statement saying that 59% and 55% of their employees, respectively, have reportedly inoculated with at least one dose.

Although, the IT giant said that the demand for vaccines is down among its employees as more options are available to them.

The chairman of Wipro, Rishad Premji, said, “As of today, based on the self-declaration of our employees, we are aware that over 55% of our employees in India are vaccinated, and that number is increasing every day,” at the company’s 75th annual general meeting on Wednesday.
