Abu Dhabi’s Qasr Al Watan Launches Self Guided Tour In 5 Languages

Qasr Al Watan is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Abu Dhabi, and now to enhance the visitor experience, even more, the stunning palace has come up with something. Visitors can enjoy self-guided tours in 5-languages at the palace. Self-guided tours have now been made available in English, Arabic, German, Russian and Chinese.

Visitors Can Rent A Multimedia Guide From The Ticketing Booth
People visiting the palace can rent a multimedia guide and headset at the palace’s ticketing booth and then take it with them as they cruise the site. There are pre-recorded clips in various language that will help the visitors understand more about the palace.


Qasr Al Watan, or the Palace of the Nation, offers an opportunity to explore the history, traditions and journey of the UAE through a vast collection of cultural artefacts, art and rare manuscripts. The palace is divided into various sections- the Great Hall, remarkable for its grand central dome, archways, ornamentation and mosaic patterns, which are a testament to Arabian craftsmanship and artistry.

Besides, there’s a section dedicated to presidential gifts, which marks the goodwill shared between the UAE and the world. Visitors also get an opportunity to learn about the cultural considerations and protocols that are involved in selecting diplomatic gifts.

In fact, in 2020, Qasr Al Watan was recognised by the Middle East and North Africa Leisure & Attractions Council as the Best Unique Visitor Attraction and was also named Middle East’s Leading Cultural Tourist Attraction at the World Travel Awards.

So if you are planning to this palace soon, then you must know that it is open on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 Am to 6 PM. And Thursday to Saturday from 12 PM to 7. 30 PM.
