A day after filing the candidature for the state elections, BJP candidate Joshua D’souza has promised to fulfill his father’s dream of developing Mapusa. He interacted with different people from the constituency and shared memories of father Francis D’sozua during his election campaign.
Due to covid crises, the election commission has restricted public campaigns; all the political parties are battening for the state elections by meeting voters from different constituencies. Joshua also visited the Mapusa constituency and interacted with voters.
During his visit, Mhapxekar’s recalled memories of late. Francis D’souza made Joshua emotional. D’souza said, “Babush represented this constituency for 20 years. He had a lot of public relations and citizens use to share their problems directly without hesitating. Babush has always strived to resolve people’s issues ”.
“I miss my father, he has always taught me that service to people is service to god. With his blessings, I promise that I will continue to serve the people of Mapusa and fulfill all the dreams he had for his hometown and his fellow Mhapxekars, and I believe that Mhapxekars will give me second chance to fulfill my father’s dream,” he added.
