The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has announced that DD India is moving to global platforms “to showcase India’s culture and values to the world.” India’s public broadcaster Prasar Bharati has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with OTT platform YuppTV.
Yupp TV now offers DD India in the US, UK, Europe, Middle East, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand via its OTT platform. Anywhere in the world, one can watch live TV through Yupp TV. Yupp TV has made Indian TV channels easily accessible worldwide. Prasar Bharati CEO Shashi Shekhar Vempati and Yupp TV Founder and CEO Uday Reddy signed the content hosting agreement.
International viewers can now get India’s perspective on all domestic and global developments via DD India. The channel will be available in more than 190 countries. DD India also acts as a bridge between India and Indian diasporas worldwide.
