Maruti XL6 2022 unofficial bookings begin

Maruti dealers have begun taking bookings for the 2022 XL6 unofficially ahead of the launch scheduled for later this month.

So far, we know the XL6 will sport a revised radiator grille, new alloy wheels, and an upgraded 7-inch infotainment system. Other than that, the car should remain the same.

There will also be a 1.5-liter Dual Jet petrol engine powering the car, which would replace the previous K15B engine which is planned to be phased out by the top automaker of the nation.

The new engine is expected to be more powerful and fuel-efficient than its predecessor, and it will be paired with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Having likely been released in two trims – Zeta and Alpha – as it was earlier, Maruti’s Nexa chain of dealerships will retail the updated XL6. It goes without saying that Maruti will charge a slightly higher price for the updated XL6 than it does now.
