BSNL has launched a Rs 797 plan that is valid for 365 days.
Benefits
The plan includes 2GB of data daily and unlimited calls.
Once the daily data limit is reached, the speed is reduced to 80 kbps.
In addition, you will receive 100 SMS per day and unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls
However, there is a catch- the benefits expire after 60 days, even though the validity is 365 days.
How It Will Work
Users will enjoy the benefits for the first 60 days after which all the benefits will expire but the number will remain active.
By the 60th day, users will have to purchase talktime or data plans to make calls or browse the internet.
The plan is ideal for someone who simply wants to keep the BSNL number active without having to spend too much on plans such as when using BSNL as a secondary mobile number.
30 Extra Days Free
The plan can be purchased from the BSNL online portal, BSNL Selfcare app (users can get a 4% discount), and third-party sources like Google Pay, Paytm.
BSNL is also offering an additional 30 days of validity in an inaugural offer
Users who sign up for the new plan during the introductory period will get 395 days of validity.
