1. The Family Man
It’s been more than a year since Manoj Bajpayee left us reeling at the last episode of The Family Man, and our wait has not ended since then, just to see what happens next. Hence, It’s only fair that this is the first entry, because we can’t wait for much longer after that nail-biting & hair-raising episode 10. For those who don’t know what we’re talking about, The Family Man is an edgy action-drama series, about a middle-class man, Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpai) who works for a special cell of the National Investigation Agency. Manoj Bajpayee perfectly captures the battles & simplicity of a middle-class man, while also giving us an edge-of-the-seat thriller series.

2. Mirzapur
Mirzapur hardly needs an introduction. Kaleen Bhaiya ki Scorpio and the famous dialogue ‘Yeh bhi theek hai’ ruled the memes and consequently, our social media feeds as the much-awaited second season premiered late in 2020. Of course, like we hungrily wait for the next gol gappa, we are also waiting for Season 3 of Mirzapur. We gotta find out about the fate of Kaleen Bhaiya man! For those who haven’t seen it yet, listen, Pankaj Tripathi as a mafia don, in this nail-biting action crime thriller – what’s stopping y’all?

3. Aarya
When we talk about a cliffhanger, Sushmita Sen starrer Aarya legit made our jaws drop. Just when we thought everything was gonna be alright, the creators played with our emotions and brought a twist – and then, the series ended! We loved this crime drama for many reasons – Sushmita Sen as the female lead was a huge one of them, and the unpredictable twists and turns that kept us wondering what was going to happen next was another. Obviously, we are eager AF for season 2 – give it to us fast!

4. Asur: Welcome To Your Dark Side
Barun Sobti fans have hacked our servers and interest! And, they totes should since Asur was a mind-boggling thriller binge. With brilliant storytelling and a gripping plot, and some fine performances by Barun Sobti & Arshad Warsi, Asur, the story about a fanatic serial killer creeps under your skin & rattles you. The last episode opened up more questions than it answered and kept us hooked till the end, only to go, ‘what next?’No wonder we cannot wait for the next season!

5. Mismatched
If you thought that only crime dramas and thrillers left us at a dramatic cliffhanger, anxious about ‘Oh, no, what now?’, you are probably wrong, for that is exactly what this lively, and cute romantic comedy did. This popular series had the internet sensation Prajakta Koli, aka MostlySane and Rohit Saraf in the lead roles. The story was heart-melting and sweet, which is why the unexpected ending left us restless & yearning for more (we promise you it was not just Rohit Saraf). Obviously, as soon as Prajakta danced with the announcement of a Season 2, we did too!

6. Jamtara – Sabka Number Ayega
Taking us all the way to rural Jharkhand, Jamtara – Sabka Number Ayega is both engaging and entertaining. It’s the riveting tale of a sleepy district of Jharkhand that emerged as the biggest den of digital crime a few years ago. With crisp episodes that were just 27 to 28 mins long and a cliffhanger ending, of course, we couldn’t get enough! It’s another series whose next season we eagerly await.

7. Hasmukh
Hasmukh starring Vir Das is an Indian dark comedy T.V series which is unique & has a cool storyline about a small-town comic’s long-awaited break taking a dark turn after he realizes committing murder is the only way to keep his onstage energy. It kept us on an edge, wondering about the lengths to which a man can go to fulfil his ambition. Obviously, it ended at a cliffhanger, promising us a new season to find out how things will turn out for Hasmukh.
