Virat Kohli was criticized in 2021 for taking a paternity break after the birth of his daughter Vamika. Kohli’s decision caused quite a stir online, but many cricket fans shared MS Dhoni’s example and reminded him how the wicketkeeper-batsman missed the birth of his daughter due to a professional commitment. The new Twitter CEO has taken a few weeks off as paternity leave, and Anushka is appreciative of the decision while calling for paternity leave to be ‘normalized’.

Despite giving up the captaincy of the Indian Cricket team, Virat Kohli remains an integral part of the team despite his struggles to get back into form. Meanwhile, Anushka recently announced her next project, “Chakda Xpress”. The talented actress, who last starred in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’ with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, will soon be taking up the role of cricketer Jhulan Goswami in the upcoming biopic.

A deal between Netflix and Amazon has been signed by Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh, who founded the production company Clean Slate Filmz with their brother in 2013.
