A Strong International Field Is Expected At The Dubai World Cup

The Dubai World Cup is not only one of the most lucrative races in the world of horse racing, but it is also one of the biggest events in Asia. The conclusion of Dubai World Cup Carnival is expected to draw huge crowds to Meydan Racecourse.

Meydan attracts the best dirt horses from all over the world due to its lucrative prize money. This would be Life Is Good’s first time competing outside of the USA in the 2,000-meter contest.

Life Is Good has become one of the sport’s most exciting thoroughbreds in the past 12 months. As shown in the horse racing results today, he recently won the Pegasus World Cup at Gulfstream Park and, as a result of that, he is now the favorite for the Dubai World Cup at 3.00. The race in Florida saw the colt take on the Breeders’ Cup Classic winner Knicks Go. He dominated the contest from start to finish, breaking from the stalls better than any of his rivals, before scoring by just over three lengths.

The Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile winner’s victory in March will help secure his position as the best thoroughbred in the world.

T O Keynes Travels to Dubai with Big Chance

A Japanese-trained horse has been successful just once in the history of the Dubai World Cup. Victoire Pisa was successful in 2011 for trainer Katsuhiko Sumii. The country’s best chance of victory in 2022 comes with T O Keynes who was in excellent form in 2021.

The five-year-old horse won three of his four races last year. On his final start of the campaign, he won the Grade One Champions Cup at Chukyo. That success has ensured he can now tackle big international races in 2022, including the Saudi and Dubai World Cup.

This horse is very comfortable on dirt as he has raced on the surface ever since he made his debut as a two-year-old. If he can add his name to the roll of honor at Meydan, it would be a huge success for Japanese horse racing.
