Apple’s website continues to face significant delays nearly six months after the Mac Studio launched, with M1 Ultra configurations facing delays of up to 10 weeks.
A Mac Studio with the M1 Max chip is estimated to ship in one to three weeks, depending on storage and memory options. Customers looking to get their hands on the more powerful M1 Ultra chip will have to wait at least seven weeks for the standard option with a 48-core GPU and up to 10 weeks for the 64-core GPU option.
The Mac Studio, despite being a high-end product that starts at $1,999, has been in high demand since it launched in March 2022. It offers a comprehensive arrangement of ports in a compact design with powerful performance, and it’s a hybrid between a Mac mini and a Mac Pro.
Mac Studio comes with the Studio Display, an external monitor that can be used with any Mac. Apple markets the Mac Studio and Studio Display as the ideal professional Mac workspace with Apple silicon. Around three to four weeks will pass before the Studio Display with tilt- and height-adjustable stand is ready.
Except for specific configurations of the 24-inch iMac, which are listed as taking 3-4 weeks to ship, other Macs in Apple’s lineup remain readily available.
