All parties are gearing up for elections held on 14th feb. Leaders of BJP, Congress, Trinamool Congress, and Aam Aadmi Party are trying to win voters’ support through campaign rallies. BJP candidate Joshua D’Souza did a door-to-door campaign in Ward 20, continuing his campaign vigorously.
We visited every house in the Gaonsawadi area and met the voters. He was accompanied by Mayor Shubhangi Waingankar, Marj Corporator Chitra Manerkar, Kavita Arlekar, Mhapsa constituency youth secretary Riteish Manerkar and many other activists.
During the campaign, some voters paid tribute to the late former Deputy Chief Minister Francis D’Souza, Joshua’s father. He always informed Joshua about the development work he has done in the constituency and his support to the needy citizens. D’souza was overwhelmed by the abundant love and response received from the Mhapsekars
After the campaign, Joshua tweeted, “I am lucky to be so abundantly Blessed by my PeoplTheir continuous Love and Support have strengthened my commitment to building a Stronger Mapusa.”
